Soulmate, partner for 50 years & loving wife to David, proud mother of Sarah, Christopher and Jonathan, dearly loved daughter to Mary, sister to Peter, mother-in-law to Caroline, sister-in-law to Jill, cousin to Alison, aunt to Tom and Aimee and devoted carer to Orla, the miniature wire-haired dachshund with the wobbly walk. Julia was an elegant, stylish lady with a deep love for her family and whose family had a deep love for her. Snatched away in the blink of an eyelid by a brain tumour, Julia passed away peacefully in her sleep at Royal Berkshire Hospital on 9th August 2013, surrounded by her family.
